To SPITIKO is in Adamas, close to the center, some 200 meters from the "Atlantik" supermarket. The ample garden with flowers and olive trees make it quite different from other restaurants. Under the olive trees, a limited number of tables with cardinal red tablecloths, a serene atmospshere welcomes you to this family-run (spitiko) restaurant. Spiros is the cook and his wife Alexa will be waiting on you. Irò, Spiros' mother, still gives a look around, since she was the "inventor" of many a recepy. The menu is simple and familiar, and the Greek plates are cooked as Irò used to, from fresh and quality products, local ones whenever possible. A special plate is the "brasato", soft meat served in sauce. But whatever you may order, from "melintzana saganaki" to meat balls "keftedes", to the light "mousaka", to lamb cooked in ceramaic pots, vegetables, etc. you will be satisfied.

Prices are absolutely fair. Wines and drinks and sweets chosen with attention.
